Traders Turning to Webinars as Market Confidence Improves
16-Feb-2011An increasing number of traders are embracing new technologies to broaden their stock market knowledge.
Bourse Data’s webinar program has experienced amazing growth in popularity since its launch in September 2010. Two weeks ahead of the next series of webinars, hundreds of traders have already registered to take part.
The increasing popularity of webinars reflects an upwards shift in market confidence, according to Richard Symon, CEO of Software at Bourse Data.
“Coming out of the holidays we’re seeing an increase in trading volumes, positive earnings reports here and in the US, and more signs that traders are gaining confidence in the global economic recovery. People want to get involved in the market again, and webinars provide a free and convenient way to improve trading education.”
Webinars, in which participants log in to a website to watch, listen to, and participate in a seminar, have become a key tool for traders to learn about current market conditions and trading strategies.
Bourse Data’s webinars cover topics from the everāpopular technical analysis to risk management, and open sessions in which traders and investors come together for a more informal chat.
“Trading can be a lonely task, but webinars allow people to talk to other traders and put questions to professionals, all from the convenience of the home office,” said Mr Symon.
All Bourse Data webinars are free of charge at www.boursedata.com.au/webinars.
The next webinar in the new series, Introduction to Technical Analysis, will run on Wednesday 2nd of March.
